June Hunger and Homeless grants and 2020 Education grants have been awarded! Thanks to the generous donors and OYH board members, we were able to award over $106,000 in funds this past month to Minnesota crisis service agencies in need!

Hunger and Homeless Grant Recipients

Al-Maa’uun

For a commercial freezer to be able to safely store perishable food items and continue their home meal and food box delivery program to youth, seniors, and people with disabilities in north Minneapolis.

Breakthrough Ministries

For a combination refrigerator/freezer trailer to help provide hot cooked meals to unsheltered homeless individuals.

Funding to help provide youth participating in The Bridge’s emergency shelter and housing programs with access to items necessary for them to be successful in school.

Funding to help support students experiencing homelessness holistically, by providing funds for basic needs items including hygiene supplies, clothing essentials, sports fees, transportation assistance, student technology needs, and community memberships.
