Thanks to generous supporters like you, Open Your Heart provided The CHAP Store with funding toward two commercial refrigerators. This funding will ensure that the quality of food given will benefit those in need.  It will also help reduce cost of time and money to operate the program.

The CHAP Store‘s mission is to build redemptive relationships for the purpose of showing the saving grace of Jesus Christ through Caring Helping And Providing. Caring about their customers, volunteers and each other.  Helping meet the needs, physical (food and clothing) and spiritual, in their community.  And Providing resources to other ministries (goods and dollars).  Profession of faith is not required by anyone to receive any kind of support.

The CHAP Store distributes food in 3 primary ways: Emergency Food Shelf, Once a week Food Distribution, and free food racks in store.  In 2023, they distributed 65,000 more pounds of food than the year prior. With the great increase in food, especially the Saturday Food Distribution, additional refrigeration supported by Open Your Heart enables the CHAP Store to effectively manage storage and serve more people in need.
