Thanks to generous supporters like you, Open Your Heart provided CROSS Services with funding toward the purchase of a refrigerator unit for their new food rescue truck.

CROSS Services is a non-profit 501(c)(3) social services organization. Moreover, they assist local families and individuals in need, with an emphasis on ending hunger through access to healthy food. They serve Rogers, Maple Grove, Osseo, Corcoran, Dayton, and Champlin (West of 169) communities of Minnesota. In addition, they have special outreach programs in Albertville and St. Michael. CROSS Services is supported by community donations and volunteerism. Their organization is also governed by a volunteer board of directors.

CROSS Services invests resources in food rescue, saving 2 million pounds of perishable food annually from local partners. Their food rescue trucks, including the newest one, rely on refrigerator units to replenish their shelves daily.
