Open Your Heart provided Joyce Uptown Foodshelf with funding for refrigeration to help provide more food to individuals and families facing food insecurity, while not having to throw away countless pounds of fresh produce due to lack of appropriate refrigeration.
Joyce Uptown Foodshelf was founded as an outreach ministry of Joyce United Methodist Church. In 2018 they served over 11,250 clients and distributed over 208,000 pounds of food. Thank you Joyce Uptown Foodshelf for the amazing work you do in our community!
