Open Your Heart provided NEAR with funding to purchase two commercial freezers to safely store food to distribute out to families facing food insecurity. NEAR responds to the needs of people in the community. Through a cooperative effort of twelve area churches, volunteers provide food relief to residents of Robbinsdale, Crystal, New Hope and attendees of all member churches. (Click on SERVICES to see map) Anyone with a need who lives in the area served by NEAR is eligible and all NEAR services are provided free of charge by volunteers and donors.
