Open Your Heart provided funding to Red Lake Homeless Shelter to help offset the cost for all of the extra cleaning supplies to keep the shelter safe for the duration of the quarantine time from the virus.

The Red Lake Homeless Shelter is an 18 bed emergency shelter that was developed by the Red Lake Housing Authority in 2005, opened January 1, 2006 and is located on the Red Lake Indian Reservation. The Red Lake Homeless Shelter is currently expanding by adding a Sprung Shelter for single adults and the current emergency shelter will house families and service all individuals in need through a broad range of programs and direct services. The Red Lake Homeless Shelter is committed to helping all individuals with emergency shelter and resources to find and maintain housing. Thank you Red Lake Homeless Shelter for all that you do for individuals experiencing homelessness!
