Open Your Heart provided The Landing MN with funding to assist with transportation of guests (via Lyft, taxi, public transit, bus lines) to medical appointments, job interviews, work sites, treatment facilities and/or housing as well as for purchasing of gas cards.
The Landing MN works to bridge the gap between those in need and the services within the community, such as housing assistance, medical needs, and much more. Additionally, the organization provides necessities such as toiletries, shoes, food, clothing and laundry services to individuals facing homelessness.
The goal of the organization is to serve as a landing place for those in need, providing assistance and seeking resources to help individuals take positive steps toward security and stability in their lives. The organization works to have boots on the ground in the community, seeking out those who need a helping hand.
