Open Your Heart provided The Salvation Army of Fergus Falls with funding for a new kitchen steam table to be able to distribute more healthy meals through their lunch program to individuals facing food insecurity.
The Salvation Army is dedicated to ensuring that everyone within their community has access to food, a safe and dignified living situation, and the opportunity to work toward more secure and stable futures. The Salvation Army of Fergus Falls offers 15 programs to support households in the community. Their programs include rent and utility assistance, food pantry assistance, prescription assistance, HeatShare, an after-school program, and spiritual services throughout the week.
