Join us for an unforgettable evening featuring a live stand-up performance by the incredibly funny Wendy Maybury, followed by an inspiring speech from our esteemed OYH grant partner, Minneapolis College. Through this meaningful collaboration, Open Your Heart offers scholarships to students who are currently experiencing or have experienced homelessness. Discover the profound impact these scholarships have on their lives and futures.

    ABOUT WENDY

    Wendy grew up all over the US as a military brat which means- she learned to make friends fast because in two weeks, we’re probably moving.

    This helped her develop her warm friendly style she uses to entertain audiences all over the country for the last seven years as a comedian and helps people relax in front of the camera.

    She is signed with Stand Up Records and her first album “She’s Not from Around Here” hit #1 on iTunes and Amazon charts. You can listen to it anywhere you listen to digital music.

    She is also the producer of “Day Drinking with Mom” a show that offers comedy, sympathy and some drinks to help Moms relax and enjoy the roller coaster of parenting. Day Drinking with Mom’s national tour launches in 2024 with her co-producer Jessi Campbell.

    When she’s not making people laugh or creating visual art with her camera she’s a Mom to an adorable ten year old boy.
